Grade 6 Course Registration Form

This includes providing the resources, answering questions about them, and commenting on assignments.   Many assignments are in the format of examination questions.  There are no “right” and “wrong” answers to questions 1, 2 and 3 of the paper.  However there are examples of the sort of arangement examiners are looking for.  You can do questions from past papers and send them in for comment, for an extra fee.

 

Note:  the course combines material not covered in the ABRSM Grade 6 Theory Workbook, the AB Guide to Music Theory, or Music Theory in Practice Grade 6.  (These are devoted mainly to composition and scoring;  they do not provide the depth of knowledge of history and style which is needed to answer questions 4 and 5 of the paper.)

It is not necessaary to take the whole course at once:  modules can be taken one by one. 
However all modules must be paid for at once to qualify for the reduced price of $149
